Sometimes life swallows you, turns you over in its stomach a few times, and spits you out somewhere new. Well, we blinked and that great fish of life spit us out married with a baby in Oklahoma. Who knew? If there was a calm before the storm, I think we missed it because it’s been an eventful year. Despite the craziness we are finally settling in and finding our new swagger. And with our rock awesome people skills, we’re slowly making friends. All in all, we like it here and despite what some would say, Oklahoma City has a lot to do.Here is a list of reasons to visit us:

-The International Gymnastics Hall of Fame -http://www.ighof.com/ You can imagine our horror when we discovered that Kerri Strug has not yet been inducted, however, we hold tight to the dream that she one day will be.
-Pops: an Original Route 66 gas station and restaurant http://route66.com/ They sell over 500 flavors of Soda Pop and it’s only 5 minutes from our house.
-Bricktown - http://bricktownokc.com/ A very cool downtown area complete with riverwalk, movie theater, good food, and the hotel where we lived for 3 weeks.

Just think about it. When else in your whole life are you ever going to have another reason to visit Oklahoma? You know that’s a valid argument. So, if you miss us, and you can make the trip, you have somewhere to stay in Oklahoma. We miss you, we love you and we hope you don’t forget us! In the meantime, we’ll keep you posted.
